1) When will I be able to register for EDS’25?

Registration is now open!
– You can check our registration page for your individual reservations.
– You can send an e-mail to congress@devent.com.tr  for your sponsorship registration or group registration requests.
– Once you send an email, D Event (PCO)’s professional team will assist you to get registered as soon as possible.

2) When are the various registration deadlines?

The current deadline for submission of abstracts published in the abstract submission section of the web page: https://eds2025.com/abstracts/

– The cancellation deadline for registration, accommodation, transportation and/or any sponsorship is 2 January 2025.

3) What venue will host EDS’25?

EDS2025 will be held in Acıbadem University Kerem Aydınlar Campus / Ataşehir Istanbul, TÜRKİYE.

4) How do I receive my registration confirmation?

Confirmation emails are sent to the email address provided during the registration process. If you did not receive your confirmation mail, please contact congress@devent.com.tr

5) Do I need a visa to travel to Turkey? / I need a letter in order to obtain a visa. Who should I contact?

If you have registered for the course and completed your payment, you can request a participation letter for your visa application via e-mail (congress@devent.com.tr).

6) When will I be able to book a hotel for EDS’25?

– Reservations will be made on a “first-come, first-served” basis. We recommend you to book in the early period to ensure availability.
– You can review the information on the accommodation page for your accommodation request.

7) Can I bring a spouse or another guest to the program?

– Only participants whose registration fee has been paid will be able to enter the course venue. If you want the person accompanying you bring with you to enter the course venue, they must also be registered.

8) What is the EDS’25 Refund Policy related to paid registration fees in the case of conference cancellation?

All cancellations should be submitted to D Event Tourism in a written form.

For cancellation of registration,accommodation, transportation and/or any sponsorship made before 2 January 2025, %10 of the total amount paid and any probable bank transfer charges will be deducted and the remaining amount will be refunded.

No refunds will be granted for any cancellation after 2 January 2025.

Refunds for cancellations made before this date will be paid to the accounts notified via bank within 60 days from the start date of the organization.

Sponsor companies must complete all of their payments before the event.

9) Can I make a presentation in my mother language?

Official conference language is English. So, all presentations must be submitted and presented in English.

10) Regarding the oral presentation, do I need to send it in advance or is it sufficient to bring it to the meeting?

We kindly ask all our speakers to deliver their presentations to the technical desk at least 2 hours before the scheduled speaking time. This will help ensure the smooth and timely flow of the program. We kindly ask all speakers to adhere to the speaking times specified in the scientific program so that sufficient time can be allocated for other presentations and discussions. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.

11) Is there a template for the posters? What are the dimensions we have to set?

12) How can I get my course participation certificate?

Your participation certificate will be sent to your e-mail address in PDF format within 1 week after the course is over.

13) How can I get the course book?

 

The course book will be published on the course website in PDF format as soon as possible after the course ends.

14) What are the services included in congress registration?
Registration includes: participant badge, certificate of participation, entrance to the meeting center, participation in scientific meetings, coffee breaks and lunches included in the program.
15) What are the services included in the accommodation?

 

Bed and Breakfast are included in the accommodation.

Check-in after 15:00, Check-Out before 12:00 in the afternoon.

16) Are there any dinner organizations?

 

Please be advised that there will not be a special dinner organized for the course participants. Everyone will be responsible for their own dinner arrangements and expenses. We recommend exploring the local restaurants and cafes in Istanbul, which offer a wide range of delicious and affordable food options. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

17) Oral Style Presentation Guideline

• The scientific program can have last minute changes. We therefore request you to kindly go through scientific program a day before to confirm the final scheduling of your talk.

• The program is busy. The screen is pre-programmed to blank out after the allotted time.
Hence please limit your talk to the time allotted.

• There will be a physical timer, which gives you a warning 1 minute before the end of your allotted time.

• Use of personal Laptops CANNOT be permitted for presentations. All presentations have to be loaded at the PREVIEW ROOM.

• You are requested to carry the presentation on a pen drive or a hard disk as you may not be able to download from the internet.

• Format of the presentation should be MS PowerPoint (.pptx – 2010 or later) or Mac Keynote 6.x or later (.key). Only Ratio of 16:9 for presentation slides will be allowed throughout the Congress.

• Videos should be in mp4/mov format.

• Photos/ pictures used should be good quality, high resolution images.

• If there are any videos in your presentation, please preview them to check that they run properly. Load your presentations in advance and check that they are working fine.

• Kindly carry the video source file as a backup for the talk.

• You are requested to be there well in advance of your talk and to load and preview your presentation 2 hours prior to your main conference talk. Our technicians will be present to assist you in the PREVIEW ROOM.

• You are requested to be seated in the front row of the hall in good time for your presentation.

• Please be advised that under no circumstances you will be allowed to load your presentation at the podium.

• If any special fonts are used please bring the presentation as a pack & go (if created on windows) or save it as a .pptx as the fonts will get embedded.
